Do you know that feeling that you get when you’re talking with someone about your next vacation/job opportunity/creative endeavor? A slight giddiness, a tiny flutter in your heart. That’s exactly how I feel when the light is JUST right; when the texture of the summer leaves makes the perfect backdrop; when two people in love glance at each the way two people in love do; the crisp, cool light of the winter….It gets my blood flowing.
As a photographer, I strive to create images that make you feel. With a photojournalistic approach, I capture honest moments, the true candids - laughter, tears, excitement - that will give you goosebumps when reliving your wedding day over and over. These are images to be shared for generations to come. Portrait sessions are comfortable and easy, naturally documenting your real smiles and touch, that undeniable spark.
I love to create with my hands. I spend my free time creating cyanotypes, drawing, embroidery, weaving, and stained glass. Like so many others, I fled Brooklyn during early 2021 and am now based in Beacon, NY. I’m loving the Hudson Valley life, which I share with my husband, Kevin, and my son, Oliver.
